DIY Pocketfolds

Alright... I have a problem...and I'm not happy. LOL> I wanted to order just my pocketfolds from a site that some ladies talked about on here for only $1 each!! But, they only do 5x7, which I THOUGHT was my size invite. BUT...it's actually 5.5x8!! So, I would need to have a custom cut pocketfold...AUGH!... which from THAT site costs $140 for the set-up and THEN another 1-1.50 each!!
Soo..>I'm not spending $250 just on pocketfolds! LOL. So, now I have some questions! If I want to make them myself, what size paper should I get for EACH invite? How many should I get? Where should I get them from? I want a blue-ish metallic... I'm sooo frustrated now. LOL> Why Can't I just have a normal size invite??

Can anyone help?? Also, some instrutions of how to make them would be sooo nice as well! I know I know, I'm asking for ALOT! HAHA

Oh youre so good with the DIYs you could totally do it yourself. I'm sure you have a paper cutter, just get a scoring blade for the cardstock to fold. It shouldnt be that hard. I made my e-party invites by myself and used the scoring blade and as long as youre patient they'll come out great.

I dont know if Manhattan is close to you but there are a few stores hear 18th between 6th and 7th ( i think) that sell all paper and invitation needs. Paper presentation is one of the larger stores. They sell pocket folds there. Im not sure the sizes they come in though. They are a little pricey but it may be worth it to take a ride out there and what else they have. You can get some really great ideas and maybe someone can guide you into making your own! HTH!
