DIY Pomanders?

So I'm thinking about adding another project since of course I don't have enough.....

Pomanders for the aisle decorations! Assuming all goes well and they look like these pictures which do you like better? Our colors are white (and ivory) and black with red accents. I'm afraid to do red though cause I dont know if they will come out dark enough and if the ceremony ends up inside I dont want them to clash with the room or anything. But I guess I could...
