DIY Program Fans

I decided today that I am going to make my own Program Fans for my July weddings. I am excited for the challenge of getting them done but I need some help.

Where did you ladies get your paper and what kind did you use for your fans?

I would love to have fans that are rounded on top like a real fan rather than rectanguler but I don't want to trace and cut does anyone know another way to get them to look like that?

I am a slow planner...still have not picked a place so I have not done programs but I saw a DIY fan program kit at michaels

plus i think there is usually a 40 off coupon in the paper that you could use

It's funny- I found a kit on the Michael's website- but it wasn;t a real picture so I wasn't sure if it was something they really had.
I am going to look into it this weekend.

I had gone to paper presentation to get cardstock. I have a template on Word that I used, printed them out, then cut manually (it has the rounded top. FM me if you want the template! Hopefully the pic goes through.

I have program fan pics in my DIY album if anyone wants to see...we got the paper from a paper supply store. They are the rectanglular kind and I used glue dots to adhere them to a wooden handle.
