What a pain in the @ss it is to write up a program for a full Catholic mass!!!
At any rate, I've got the draft done, and I bought pretty DIY programs, which are really thick paper and will serve as program covers. Becuase it's a full mass, I need more than 2 inner pages, so I bought ivory paper, and intend to fold them in half and insert them to make a booklet.
Here's the question:
How do I staple them in the center crease? standard staplers are too short to staple the center of an 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 page...
This is driving me nuts!

I lightly curled the paper so the stapler would go over it and was able to do it that way....you just have to be careful not to get any creases in the paper.

My dad helped me make my programs. Instead of stapling them we used a 2 hole punch and used ribbon the same colors as the ink. The ribbon was 50cents a roll and it made the programs look so nice and elegant.

actually, I intend to do that, on both sides of the staple. I think the staple might improve the durability of the program a bit.....
