DIY Projects

Does anyone plan on doing any DIY projects for your wedding? If so what are you planning to do yourself?

Since I have a good amount of time, I plan on doing my own invites, centerpieces, pllace cards, guestbook, favors, etc. I want a really personal feel and have chosen to leave ony a few things to the professionals. :)

Sounds awesome!

I know I def plan to do some things on my own such as programs and menus but im unsure about other things such as centerpieces and invites. Im really liking the cylinder centerpieces but im not sure which will be cheaper if I decide to go with that. Def lots of research to do. Good thing we have plenty of time!

I am probably doing all the paper good myself besides the invitations. Not sure what or if anything else.

Thats so cool! I used to have a lot of patience for things like this when I was younger but not as much anymore. But I def want to do some things on my own to add a personal touch and also to try and save some $$. Most likely i'll end up doing a lot of the paper/stationary items myself also like Kristen.

I'm doing the invitations (already bought the stuff for that) and prob other little things here and there. I don't want to obligate myself to too much right now, just in case I don't have time
