DIY question about MS Word

DIY question about MS Word

I actually designed my post-RD cocktail party invites last night in MS Word. They look pretty cute. All I need now is some nice paper.

The problem is that I can't figure out how divide the 1 page document in half, horizontally, so that I have 2 equal-sized invites per page. I know that if I wanted it in half vertically, I could add columns, but does anyone know how to make a horizontal divider?

do you have microsoft publisher? If you do...it is great for doing that and easy to navigate.

You can make a customized sheet under labels.

Just so I understand: You have an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper that you want to print 2 invitations on?

ETA: under labels there is one called Notecard #3260 Avery. 2 per page, looking in these settings may be the easiet.

can you make a text box for each side?

Jenny: I just remembered I have a program template that is divided in half - down the center. Would that help?

eta: oops - it's divided vertically - you need horizontal. poop.

For the life of me, I cant figure this one out. But there has to be a way! The only thing I can come up with are two text boxes. I hope you find a way!

Just set your page to landscape under page setup. Then set up two text boxes of equal size and paste your info into the second one. That way you can format within the text box nd you don't have to worry i everythings even. Go to Insert then tex box. Do that once on each side of the page.

Glad I'm not the only one confused about this Yes, I have an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper and I want to print 2 equally sized invites per page horizontally. So, is what everyone is telling me that I should just make 2 equal sized text boxes and place 2 per page, one on top of the other sort of? Thanks again!
