Re: diy question: transparent vs vellum paper
I *think* transparent is, well, actually transparent (see through) whereas vellum is more translucent; less will show through. I'm not positive, though.

Re: diy question: transparent vs vellum paper
Transparent is more like plastic. So if you need to glue anything on it... that won't really work so well - gorilla glue does work though bc I'm in the middle of a project with that paper. Also you can't print on it. Vellum paper is foggy looking and you can print on it and it's not so platicy and shiny. But if you wrap it around any colored candle the color will show through. It's like putting contact paper on a window for privacy. ha ha ha. That's the best I can relate it to.

I don't think you can print on transparent paper.

OK Great! I wasn't sure and I wanted to test it for you but I have no ink! Ha ha ha!
I'm glad it worked! I really wasn't sure because of the shine and plastic texture.
I figured it was for a candle. that's what most people want the vellum paper for.

Re: diy question: transparent vs vellum paper
What's funny is you were looking for vellum paper and only found transparent and while I was looking for transparent all i was finding was vellum! Why is that that whatever you are looking for they always have something other than what you are looking for?!?!?!?
