DIY STDs and Invitations - what do you think?

I've been doing these little doodle things for years now, and I thought it would be nice to incorporate them into my wedding somehow. The fonts and wording might change, but what to you think otherwise?

Is it too random?

Love the drawings, but keep working on the layout.

The graohic at the top is still too msmall comapred with the graphic at the bottom. Maybe wrap it around two diagnonal opposite corners in the same size?

it's very easy for the eye to get drawn down. That's why, for example, when you're matting artwork to be framed, you actually mat it closer to the top, not even, because even looks lower. I would really try to pump up the top a LOT more im proportion to the bottom, but I think the doodles are awesome

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm been playing around with the designs a little, and got some input from FH.

For the STD, FH likes the left aligned one, although I did shrink the design size. For the invitations, I shrunk the design as well, and now I'm trying to decide between the left-aligned and center-aligned text...
