DIY Table Seating Help?

I have this idea about how to incorporate my centerpieces as placecards and favors but I'm just not sure how to execute.
is it okay to have placecards at each table with people's names on them, instructing them where to sit, as well as a table where they find out which table they sit at?

I guess I need a way to point people to their table, where they will see their placecard that's already part of the centerpiece. The reason I can't have them bring them over themselves is because they're candles and will be lit.

yea you can def do place cards! Keep in mind though, that some people may swap seats anyway...

Very nice idea. It's going to look really pretty. I think you may need to have something outside of the room to direct everyon to their table and the candles can be used a seating 'cards' Maybe one big board with everyones names and the table number.
