DIY Unity Candle

What I would like to do is just by a big plain white candle and then make my own unity candle by using vellum paper and ribbon etc. like I have seen some girls do on here.

Can anyone please give me instructions on how to make my own?

Also, can you girls please post pics of your unity candle.

I haven't done mine yet, but will be doing it soon. I plan on just printing out our names and date on vellum, centered on the page and no more then 3 or so inches wide. Then wrapping around the candle and doubleside taping it. I'll probably add ribbon to the top and bottom to make it prettier.

That's about it I think.
