we bought tracing paper from Michaels and just printed everything on the tracing paper...we then taped the paper to the candle

I always ask this, but no one really can tell me. What about fire??????

I am afriad these things will go up in flames. Is it that the candle doesn't burn long enough????

I made one just like that for my wedding and it did not go up in flames. Think about how a candle burns, the wax melts in the center first and around the edges only when its been lit for hours. We did ours as the last thing of our mass, it was lit for only 10 minutes or so. If you buy a non drip candle, the edges don't ever really melt at all.
