DIY Wedding Albums - Must Read
Hey Girls,I was just at the photographer's yesterday and can't believe how much they charge for Albums. I was doing a little research today and I found a website that you can order albums and mats and you can make them yourself. You can order an album with way more than 40 pics (as many as 4 pics per page if you want) for about $450 (even less depending on how big you want it). I figured this was a great find for all the DIY's out there.
The website is www.weddingalbumdepot.com. Check it out and let me know what you think.
I'm thinking of ordering it. They look professional made.

I think many photogrphers are going to have the same issue - unless they are doing this mind blowing layout you can basically DIY. I am graphic artist and I had my photographer do my album because i thought he/she would do it better. But now i am getting a disk and doing my own.

We are making the parents albums. I am far from a graphic artist or a photog but I think i'll be ok.

You can also try using Blurb.com. It seems relatively cheap! I'm not sure if you can use professional photos though because of copyright issues.http://www.blurb.com/create/book/photobook
