DIY Wedding flowers? Do or don't?

Okay, so I have heard of brides taking the floral designing into their own hands, and my mother is a floral designer for a company that does flower sales, but would you think a single person could make the bouquets for me and my 8 bridesmaids? Not to mention the groomsmens boutineers, my dad, my uncle, (who happen to be giving me away) and also corsages for the mothers of the bride, and goom. I need imput! Money savy or completely crazy? anyone??

i think for bok's it would be feasable..my cousin just got married and her mil does flowers (had even appeared in brides mag), and she did all the flowers..they had no floral cps though..

however i would def. suggest that you have someone do floral cps if you are planning on these..they have to be done so close to the wedding that i just think you would get a headache from worrying about it

I also agree...the last thing you are going to want to do just before the wedding is to worry about the doing the centerpieces a few hours before the wedding.
