Feedback on these DJ's!

I want a DJ that will keep everyone dancing all night without being annoying. We're meeting with all 3 in the next few weeks!

Thanks!

Hi,
I was really impressed with Tommy tunes. Since I know you went to the Watermill showcase, I guess you saw Body rock, and they were very good as well, I felt like Tommy Tunes was going to cater to 'everyone ' at my wedding more though...good luck!

Re: DJ

I agree! FI and I ended up talking to Tommy's Tunes for 20 minutes. They were so nice. In fact, we weren't even going to talk to them because we were trying to decide between Body Rock and Absolute. We were very impressed with the way they spoke with us so we made an appt.

One of our friends had Body Rock at her wedding last summer and they were great but I'm a little afraid they are too techno for us. But they did tell us they will play whatever we want.

Re: DJ

Thats the impression I got from body rock, they felt 'younger' to me, and they seemed great bout playing what 'we' wanted but not so sure... FI's cousin owns ADA studios, who is a watermilll vendor, shares space with Tommy Tunes, at one of their office's..i know they are biased because of that but told us not to bother with others that they are the most recommended so we had an appoint but we will be booking with them regardless....no info on absolute sorry..

Re: DJ

Forgot to say in my FM, that YES we are using ADA...love them and so happy that when FI said 'my cousin is a photographer' it didn't turn out to be some guy with a polaroid!!

If you decide to look at other Dj's as well, a friend of ours is a DJ for WGJP Sound
631-331-4114. I had not heard much about them untill I came on here, they do large weddings like at Oheka and in manhatten, so I have not heard them at a wedding but they are great people to work with, sounded great at smaller parties we had, and didnt use them because we got a 'small' discount with Tommy tunes because of family affiliation with ADA...
Good luck!!!

Re: DJ

KER...Off topic... but what room ( upstairs, downstairs) are you having recption in at WM? And have you met with Samantha yet? Is she helpful?

Re: DJ

We are downstairs in the Vanderbilt room!

We're meeting Samantha on March 16th at the Cocktail Party! Did you get the invite today? Are you going? We spoke to her for a few minutes at the showcase and she seems really nice and helpful!

you?

We are using Tommys Tunes. My uncle knows Tomy so my family has been using this company for a while now. They are great!

Re: DJ

Thanks! I've been hearing a lot of good things about them and we really liked them when we saw them at the showcase. We'll see in a few weeks when we meet with them.....

Re: DJ

We are in the Astor room upstairs, we will even have trouble meeting the 125 minimum ( maybe) and we get both cocktail rooms upstairs so its plenty big...Yes we are going to the show on the 16th..she did seem nice, guess we will talk with her then...
