Ok...I have posted about this before..but here I go, one more time...because we really really need to book a dj! Recommendations please!!! Also DJ and MC...should we get both? And what about the light show and giveaways? (what type of giveaways are there anyway? I don't want anything tacky)...honestly...the DJ has by far been the hardest part of this planning...everything else has been fun...this is the one aspect I just can't wait until is done!!!

we haven't looked at anyone yet...I think we are going to look at Get in Tune(our house dj) and high voltage...has anyone used/is using either?

We went w/ Get In Tune, they were recommended to us from 2 different photographers...

I'm using Starlight Express. We have a Dj & MC, light's but no giveaways.

I used Castle Entertainment (their office is in Bohemia). We had a MC and DJ and a few giveaways.(they weren't tacky)

We booked Bravura, a new vendor here. They are a vendor for Woodbury CC and so I said why not check it out? Well I was super impressed. Bose speakers and equipment, the lights are definately top notch. The prices were reasonable too.

We just met with Variety Music on Tuesday and we are going to book them. We got a package that includes a DJ and MC, lightshow and giveaways. They are great to work with and they do a great job- we've seen them at other occasions before including our friends wedding a few weeks ago. They do a lot of perfomances at bridal shows so you can check them out if you're interested.... :) Worth taking a look! :)
