we went with dancejock. i have a co-worker who used to be a dj and worked for quite a few l.i. companies; that was his first recommendation. i can tell you from personal experience though, very soon

also, my best friend is using tommy's tunes and i went to 2 weddings in the last year, with tommy's tunes and i thought they were great

We used Long Island Sound with DJ Sal and MC Chris - we also hadHowie Bongo the live percussioist. They rocked the house all night long - they actually had to tell people to sit down and eat - the dance floor was full all night long.

Another vote for VInny from High Voltage Sounds!!

Just a note for brides - my ceremony is at a very unusual location. Vinny came and met me there today so he could see the layout, find electrical outlets, and make sure that the vows will be heard by my guests. I'm sure he thought it was going to be a quick thing, but it was two hours and he never complained once!!!! Not to mention that he forgot school was closed today and had both his kids (who are adorable) with him.

There are not a lot of vendors that would go out of their way like this. He could have waited until Sunday and then forced us to make last minute changes if things didn't set up right, but he cares about his brides, and went the extra step for me!!!

LI Sound!!!!!!!! I also used MC Chris and DJ Sal, they were awesome, I'd absolutely recommend them!!!!!

We had the dance floor packed the whole night and all of our requests were just perfect!!!!!
