DJ....

I'm a newbie... and I really can't decide what DJ I want its a toss up between Variety Music Or Extreme Sounds!!! Has anyone used or been to a wedding or party with them as the DJ!!!! Also I'm looking for a Steel Drummer for the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour!!

I'm using Tommy's Tunes. I've been to several weddings where they DJed and had a blast. I've experienced a few of their MCs and they're awesome. I'm not sure if they offer services to someone who is not booking with them, but they offer great Steel Drummers. My brother had one at his wedding for the Cocktail Hour. Might be worth asking.

We are booked w/ After Hours and are super excited...Of the 2 you posted we only met with Variety and I must say they are willing to work with you on pricing and seem very nice

I'm booked with variety. They were great to meet with, sounded great at an expo and the prices were very reasonable.

I got married this past summer and we used Variety Music. Ray and his staff were great. They were helpful in the planning process...contacted me a few weeks before to let me know what was needed before the wedding...they were so easy to contact via email/phone. We had the two tv's with the photographer during cocktail hour which was great because at the end of the night we had 300 pictures to go home with. We also had the Frank Sinatra singer during the dinner hour and he was amazing. Ray and Variety Music really were great. They played almost every song I had emailed him before the wedding. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. They really made the night!! I can't not say enough. If you have any other questions please let me know.

they were hands down the easiest vendor to go with.

my FH HATES ALL VENDORS lol
he think all of them are too pushy , but when we left after meeting with variety, he immediately was like 'babe, i think we should book with them'

my jaw dropped LOL , mr.gun shy actually liked a vendor and felt confident to book??

we're using Variety for our wedding in October. They were one of the easiest vendors to book so far, very professional and worked within our budget, plus they sound awesome from what we've seen so far. looking forward to hearing them at the wedding and dancing all night!!
