Help! I can't decide between Tommy Tunes and Energy Entertainment! :( My darling FI is letting me pick the DJ!

Has any Latin brides used either of them? I'm Dominican and my family is big on merengue. My dad is Italian and I also have alot of Italian relatives.

I was pretty impressed with Mark from Energy Entertainment. They had a huge library of latin music. I wasn't too crazy over the fact they charge you more to use one of the owners as the MC!

Has anyone used Mark or Willie from Energy or Frank from Tommy Tunes?

i just saw energy entertainment @ my friend's wedding july 5. they were good, but the MC kept repeating himself the whole day saying '____ & ___ Married @ last. ' it was soooooo annoying-it might sound weird to complain about that, but it just bothered me-it seemed so rehearsed! the dance floor wasn't really packed all afternoon, but i don't think it was their fault-it really wasn't a dancing crowd. edited to add that i am not sure who the MC was ! Sorry!

i've heard good things about tommy tunes as well but i've never seen them in person.

We used Joe E from Tommy tunes. I am not a Latin bride but our crowd was up dancing all night long. Our MC really didn't say much...which is what I wanted. I gave him a list with a whole bunch of songs so he could get an idea of what type of music I liked. I explained that I didn't want an obnoxious, in your face MC. I wanted it to be elegant but a fun reception. That is what we got..we had a blast.
