I'm coming home next week for a few days and would like to make some progress on DJs. Has anyone met with FM? Their prices look great, but I can't make it to any of their showcases. Some of their replies to negative reviews I've seen make me nervous. I'm wondering where their office is... If it's way in Nassau I don't think I'll have time to make a trip out there.
Are there any other DJs that are super affordable that you'd recommend? DJ/florists are the two vendors we are least picky with, we just want someone that comes recommended and is affordable. Thanks!

We went with NY Nights Entertainment - and we are very excited for this vendor. Music was one of the top things for my FH for the reception and we love Neil (the owner). We met him at the Fox Hollow wedding showcase and then kept in touch.
We booked him + an MC and are also doing Zap photos (really cool). I can FM you the quote I have if you would like.

I booked with FM entertainment. I couldn't make it to their office, but Frank does an online meeting where you can see how he does his intros and everything..He's been great, I haven't heard anything bad about them

We are booked w/ Frank from FM. I don’t think he has an office. He holds his showcases at two different American Legion halls (in Islip andOceanside). A friend of ours is also using him and recommended him to us.
I found a few negative reviews for FM, but we felt that he was professional and organized. Just about every vendor has some negative feedback so I am still comfortable with him, since the reviews were more good than bad.

I met with FM Entertainment, Barratini, LI Sound, Body Rock and Dream Entertainment. We booked with LI Sound. They were not the most affordable but we really connected with them and they did work with us on the package. I would be happy to share with you our experiences with any of these vendors in a FM.

We booked with Body Rock, they were a little more than I wanted to spend but really loved the guy we met with and they happen to be a preferred vendor for our venue.

Thank you ladies for sharing your insight! It's so hard to narrow down DJs, I feel like there are so many! We are definitely going to meet with a few and hopefully we'll end up booking someone soon!
