i am sure you could....there is a company called bravura and they have a dj and live entertainment as well!

why not do a dj that can play lots of variety and have an add-on live entertainment like a percussionist (or a few) or a singer, steal drum band, or even a saxophonist

We met with DJs Unlimited the other day and they do a combo thing... DJ with a bunch of live musicians and even singers... That might be a good idea for the stuff a band can't really do...

We hired Tommy's Tunes. Live music for ceremony & CH. Dj w/ singer and percussion for reception. Great prices and very professional.

I am using Bravura. They only do weddings and corporate events. We have a basic DJ package with a jazz trio for CH and a saxophonist and percussioninst during the reception. You can have a live singer, or a steel drum band....I would look into something like that.
