DJ announcing favor donations

Is this tacky ? To have your DJ announce tat in lieu of favors you have made a donation? This would be in place of writing anything on the tables.

i think it may be a bit tacky. I would stick with putting things on the table :)

I wouldn't, just because at weddings im either too busy having fun or too drunk to pay attention and I feel like a lot of the guests would miss it.
