Make sure they show you a video of the DJ you're going to use. Listen to their suggestions lol They know what they're doing
Good luck!!!

Find out how many other events they have done at your RH (we were impressed when our DJ took out a book with a floor plan of our RH room showing where all the outlets were so he could show us where his gear would need to go).

Also, if you need certain music played (hora, greek music, whatever) make sure they have worked those weddings before and know what to do.

Also find out, are you getting just a DJ or also an MC? Do they bring basic lights or do you have to upgrade for that? Will they offer ceremony music and/or CH music if you need it?

ask about them playing your play list. This was one thing that was VERY important to me. Some dont know how to stick to it, but luckily for my wedding the dj did. For my e-party i used someone else and while they played some of the songs they also improvised and would play the same artist but different song than i asked for and i didnt want that.

For the most part, they will ask you most of the questions you need to know.

When i went in for my appt, they asked us if we are going to play international songs, if we needed an international MC.

I knew ahead of time that my DJ actually does many weddings at my rh, they are a house vendor and work closely with them. So they asked me about how many guests and which room. They have a sound check guy that comes in and adjusts sound to the size of your room and the amount of guests to get quality sound.

They also give you a sheet asking about other things you may want. Such as percussion, plasmas, lighting and all their different options and showed us pics of each lighting option, plus showed us videos of mc's to pick from and see the lighting in videos.

They even asked us about what kind of participation we want from MC...whether not too much talking and JUST making announcements, moderate or very interactive. They went over the style of MC we want.

so the basic things they make sure to go over with you. If theres any special requests or concerns you have then ask

STICK TO YOUR GUNS if you dont want something dont let them talk you into it! a few of the DJS i met with were very high pressure like ok you`ll have this and that and we`ll do this and you can get that and on and on and then they were like ok are you ready to leave a deposit? i was like whooaaaa buddy!!!! relax and let me process this!!! but the one i booked was great just explained things that he offered and let us choose what we wanted!! so good luck!!

Make sure they tell you exactly is included in the standard package...sometimes that is enough and you dont have to get any extra stuff......they like to throw extras at you ....
