I had my heart set on a band but, it looks like it will not fit in my budget. I didn't want to go with a DJ but now it looks like I might have to! Here is what I'm looking for...I hope that you can help!
I'm looking for just one DJ for 4 hours. I want to be able to give him a large list of songs that I definitely want played, and likewise, a list of songs that will not be played. I don't want a lot of talking and I DO NOT want any giveaways...no blow up toys or leis!!!!!! I just want a really classy, professional DJ. I know that this must sound demanding but, I have such a fear of having a really cheesy DJ show up who never shuts up the whole reception!
I've heard a lot about Spin Around Sound from some of you and they sound really good. Others I have heard about...Absolute Entertainment and Get in Tune. Any input on these three companies and any others would be greatly appreciated!
BUT I have a large room (seats 350) so I needed the larger sound system...or somthing like that
and I am having 3 people there...dj, mc, asst...only b/c I think more is better, they will be able to get the job done...I don't want talking or favors either...

Re: DJ Companies...(FOR J&A)
I am getting married at Flowerfield 5 days after you. I wanted a band, but cant do it now. SO I am looking for the exact same kind of DJ you are. I have not begun my search yet, but as I meet with DJ's I will let you know what I find. Good luck, I hope there is a great non-cheesy DJ out there for both of us.

Re: DJ Companies...
Hi, we are using Get in Tune. They had a few different packages available to fit with your budget. I was interested in them, saw them at a showcase, and then my FH and I went to Glen's house and sat and talked to him for a while. I thought he was very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend giving him a call.

Re: DJ Companies...(FOR J&A)
Hello Flowerfield brides! (J&A and Christy)
I was married at Flowerfield a year ago this Saturday (time certainly flies!) and I had a very classy and non cheesy DJ. I used Dancejock, and had a 100% positive experience. I also had a live singer and percussionist supplied by Dancejock, which made the DJ seem more 'upscale'. We had no light shows, no give aways, and no 'banter' from the emcee. Let me know if you have any questions, and I'd be more than happy to help. www.dancejock.com
