DJ FeedBack...Body Rock or Tommy Tunes

We are starting to look at DJ's next week & just wanted some feedback on these particular DJ companies please!

If you go with Tommys Tunes ask for Joe E as the MC. He is their best, but he books up fairly quickly.

My friend used Body Rock for her wedding. They were great. Played every type of music, took requests, and kept everyone dancing. The DJ was not intrusive, he just played music.

We used BodyRock for our wedding. Overall they did a good job.

We didn't love our experience dealing with them up till the wedding. They were a bit difficult and opinionated and argued with us about our musical tastes.

Also, keep in mind, they are DJ brokers -- not DJs themselves.

They missed a few things on our request list but did basically stick to what we asked for, and screwed up some traditional stuff in my opinion (tarentella), but overall no one at my wedding really noticed, everyone had a great time and the dance floor was always full.

I interviewd both and we picked Tommy. I thought Body Rock was too like 'hey we are the best badda bing badda bomb' you know what I mean? and they tried to pressuire us and called like at least 10x as well after they said they were almost all booked up. They kept calling for months after, hey happened to being so booked I thought?

I hear Body is good from the perspective of the guest but that they do not do what the bride and groom do as far as like special dances and stuff. As a guest you wouldnt know, but as the bride and groom who planned it all you would. If that makes sense.

MY FH and I loved Tommy from the second we met him and love the company. We cant wait till they do our wedding. I have never heard one single bad thing about Tommy Tunes.

I didn't meet with Body Rock, but we booked Tommy Tunes b/c we loved them. I had met with a few other companies and just found the staff at Tommy's Tunes to be exactly what we were looking for.

We also went w/ Tommy and absolutely love him and his company. We went to a wedding they did this past summer and they were excellent.

Friends of ours used Body Rock for their wedding about 2 years ago. They were also very good.
