Re: DJ for $1500

definitely possible if u want a basic dj package.

if u want to add a lot of extras it will end up costing a lot more

Parties alive. Fantastic. 1600 dj and mc. Five hours. If you have a diamond card mention it. It might help if they still have the deal.

I second LI Sound. They have very reasonable prices if you don't go over the top with the lighting and live performers.

Re: DJ for $1500

We used Variety Music DJ and it was less than that for a 2-man team (DJ/MC) for the entire ceremony / CH / Wedding. I think it was $1395 or something. If you're not doing a ceremony, it's much less.

If you want extras like special lighting (we didn't since it was a day wedding and I like natural light) it'll be more, but still not much.

Ray our MC was wonderful -- they're vendors on here too.

ITA! I used After Hours and that's what we paid for a DJ and MC...and we had Phil!

Check Out Parties Alive. Their prices are really good. Rich is amazing and he really tries to work with you to give you as much as he can for your budget. I am so happy with the package that we got!!

Re: DJ for $1500

Ultimate sounds basic DJ package is even less than $1500. I think it was $ 995. 1500 is definitely right in the price range of most DJs,
Once you add lighting and extra things like Gobo lights (your initials or monograms in fancy lights on the dance floor) and Disco type lighting/plasma TV, etc the price shoots to over $2,000.
