I just saw that After Hours was the DJ for TWOTY. How was it? Who was the MC?? I am having After Hours as my DJ and Phil for MC!
the music was good but the MC's were a little over the top for me...standing up on speakers, yelling in the Mic, dancing around everywhere...it's not what I would want in a MC...to each his own though!

Was Phil the MC you're referring to that jumped on speakers or was it someone else?
I'm a little nervous now! I've read so many good reviews on here.
I don't think you have anything to be worried about. Only time the dance floor was packed was when the DJ played. I don't think the MCs were too crazy. TWOTY is a fun a event and maybe they were just showing excitement. I'm sure at a REAL wedding they wouldn't be jumping on speakers unless you gave them the OK lol Just make sure to have a talk with your MC so everyone is on the same page.
If I didn't already have my DJ booked, I'd be booking them, they were great. The dance floor was always packed, and that's what you want isn't it?
I think there were at least two guys on the mic at various times. I don't know who one was, but MC Brett did a fantastic job IMO and I would definitely consider booking with him if I had not already booked elsewhere!
Thanks for the advice! I definitely do want the dance floor packed the whole time. I'll just tell them I don't need anything too over the top.
I went to a showcase before booking and it wasn't how TWOTY was described lol so I guess it was more for that.
