DJ give aways

did you or will you have them at your wedding? Or did you not do them??? I am talking about the lei's, sunglasses, foam hands, etcs...

i'm having them! i bought maracas, leis, glow necklaces, sunglasses, top hats and derby hats!!!

We decided not to have them... FH thinks they are for a Sweet Sixteen

I guess I have to let him make one decision

i keep going back an forth on this...i think there really fun but my FH thinks they are for bar/bat mitzpha's....what do you guy's think?

i really don't like them - i don't like receiving them as a guest, and we won't be having them at our wedding.

we are totally having the dj giveaway items.. its fun!!! and its not childish at all.. i always loved it! i never heard a guest at a wedding complain about it ,....ever!!

My mom went crazy buying stuff- the DJ barely gave any out.

I didn't really want it, but my mom insisted.

I didn't want them, but in the end I conceded--we just gave away these light up roses which were a hit.

So I am on the fence here, we met w our DJ last night and didn't choose to do these. However when I told my mom, she made a huge stink and said that everyone would miss it. So now I am torn.

We didn't give anything away. I'm not a fan of the giveaways and neither is DH.

The entertainment itself was so great, no one even missed them.

ditto---to each their own--but i feel like its too kiddie party for me. DH originally wanted them, and then both the DJ and i convinced him it was a bad idea.
