should i get those glow stick necklaces and big sunglasses for the wedding? i know ppl feel its childish..but when ur drunk, that stuff is soooo much funnn!

I dont think its necessary. But if you do decide to do it, go on Oriental Trading and get a bunch of stuff, rather than getting it from the DJ who will prob. overcharge you.

I was thinking about doing this too...because they can be so much fun at the end of the night when everyone is drunk...
but last time I saw this, it was at a sweet 16...idk..i'm still torn about the idea.

i got the glow necklaces,sunglasses and the hats. i know it may be childish but everyone has alot of fun with them. and i bought them from Oriental Trading. that place has great stuff for a great price.

I don't think i'm gonna get them. It'll remind me too much of work. And too many things to worry about.
1. Having the DJ actually remember to give them out. 2. Not having enough and people getting mad they don't have one (yeah.. strange that people really really get mad when they can't have one for their kid at home) 3. They create a mess on the dance floor 4. Most of the times they are cheap and will break in 2 minutes.
If you do want them i'd sugget getting them on your own also but make sure you give it to the DJ before the event so they have time to unwrap them. Stay away from the glow bracelets (u gotta put the entire thing together urself), those necklaces you squeeze to light up (they never work), the glowing sunglasses (they break). Oh. and stay away from the feather boa's. Some Matre'd's dont allow them cuz it's too messy.

I think if you like it, the you should get it. I went to a wedding at the beginning of June at Verids that had everything from give aways to a conga line, to a game to see who gets to take home the center piece and it was actually really fun!!!

They can be fun, especially towards the middle of the party when people are started to get a nice buzz going. If you're going to a real PAAAAAAAARRRRRTY vibe then I'd say go for it.
FH and I aren't going to get them - he's never been into that kind of stuff, and I don't really care either way.

I agree when people get drunk those things are fun, but I will not be doing that for my wedding. FH wants to but I'm not too crazy about them because there are more old people at the wedding than young people who would like it.
