DJ handouts?

Are you guys doing DJ handouts (like the glow-sticks, necklaces, hats, etc)?

I kind of like them, and kind of hate them at the same time

I haven't decided. One one hand I HATE HATE HATE them and 1. Either the DJ forgets to give them out ( ), 2. They all break before you even GET to hand them out 3. They all end up on the floor anyway and make a MESS.

But
I have 15 kids who I know will really like them.

I suggest if you do any of them to get prices through your DJ but then go on oriental trading and see what the price difference is. Suggestions, DON'T get feather boa's (some RH's don't allow the DJ to give it out), DO get glasses and hats, DON'T get light up necklaces (they break easily and 1/2 won't work).

I kind of think they are tacky, but FH's cousin just had them at her wedding, and we were all drunk and had SO.MUCH.FUN.!!!! So who knows.....

I dont like them and I think they're cheesy, BUT I am gonna have them. They're kinda fun when you're drunk and making an a$$ out of yourself. Plus, the few kids that are going will love it!

I actually had a great experience with Oriental Trading for mine and my sister's sweet 16s. All our glo-sticks/necklaces/bracelets worked perfectly!

I'm not having a dj, but if I was, I wouldnt do the handouts. I feel like they are more for a sweet 16. But that's just my opinion, I know people love them

we didn't do them, I agree with everyone else - I'm not a fan of them at weddings...

I'm not doing them, but I went to a wedding where they did it, and it was fun. I got a nice big $ necklace... bling bling!!! (felt kind of silly looking at the pics later, though. didn't really go....) but I was SO excited to get it at the time!!!

were doing them!!! theyre a blast especially since they dont get handed out til later in the night when everyones been drinking....

but i DO agree on not using boas, i like hats n maracas n glasses, stuff like that
