fh and I have booked our church and hall and now we are in search of a dj...I personally know nothing about this....I don't even know where to begin! I def want a DJ that is fun...and prefer one that would let me pick most of the songs...but we dont' want to spend too too much on one...any suggestions? Like I said...I wouldn't even know where to begin! The DJ is the one thing I really don't know too much about so any help you ladies could give me would be WONDERFUL!

We booked Let Us Entertain You. We are spending $1400 and are getting 5 hours of music (we do not need them to play for cocktail hour), DJ, MC, giveaways, lights, bubble machine and costumes for my guests to put during the playing of certain songs.

I recommend Vinny of High Voltage .. he's a vendor on this board.
He is great, will let you pick ALL your songs, and has packages in many price ranges... even the top package is very reasonable!
He's a great person, too!!!

We booked Tommy's Tunes and have heard nothing but great things about them. All DJ's offer different types of packages and will work with you on what you are looking for. Good luck!

We booked Dash of Class. We saw them play at 2 of my friends weddings so I know they are good.

i second tommys tunes!!!!!!! they will go out of there way for you and treat you like a sister then a client. they went out of there way for us to get our wedding song.. we where in the middle of looking for a new one when we got the call that thay got it! they have great packages and will work with you!!

I second dash of class, they are awsome, we are using Nick he is the one person I have most confidence in about all my vendors, probably because I have seen him do other wedings, they ahve a great montage if you choose to do it 100 pics they lay during your first dance father and motehr dance and during dinner to keep people entertained also they have a person come to your ceremony to tkae pics and them replay them at the reception for all those that could not make it to the ceremony.
