DJ Help

I went for an appointment tonight with a DJ. They looked great and I loved what they offered but I feel that the price is a bit steep. Can you guys help me out and post what DJ company you guys went with and what you are paying. If it's not too much trouble can you just add what's included in your package.

For example, they want to charge me 1,750.00 just for the DJ and MC. Then an extra 1,250.00 for the LED Lighting around the room. If I want to add the screens for the video montage it's another 450.00.

Is that alot to you guys? I don't want to get ripped off !

I think that is a bit much. We aren't doing lighting or anything, but we have the DJ and MC for under $900.

It could also be that they aren't a big name, we know the family, but they have their own business. I mean, why should it cost thousands of dollars?? I hate when companies raise prices just b/c they hear 'wedding'. I would look other places.


When I went looking for the people to do the video montages, they quoted me 1,000 for 2 screens and playing all night, with the candid shots. and we would've got to keep a dvd with our photo montage on it. *shrugs*.
