Ok, so I was in an absolute panic 2 days ago--my wedding is in 1 month and my brother-in-law who was all set to DJ for us tells me NOW that he can't do it! I sent out an urgent post here and got lots of FM's from DJ's, but don't have a lot of time to go out and interview now. I know there are tons of great DJ reviews on this forum, but all of the DJ nightmare stories have the names deleted! If anyone knows anyone to steer me away from I would appreciate a FM, since I need to book someone NOW! The ones that I am looking at are: FM Entertainment Tommy's Tunes Keep Dancin' Dr. Beat a couple of others I can't remember now......... Thanks ladies!! I keep telling myself it will all work out but I had nightmares last night. As a newcomer to LI I don't know what I would have done the last few months without this forum! Everyone has been so helpful, I hope to be able to add some great reviews in a month!

we're using Parties Alive located in Kings Park. they did a really great job at my brothers wedding a couple years ago and we got a great price. really worked with our budget. good luck!!!!

Tommy's Tunes is awesome, and Parties Alive did my sisters wedding 5 years ago. They were really great too.

We're using DanceJock....Scott is awesome! And the pricing is more reasonable than some of the other 'big name' DJs. They have everything you could ever need...uplighting, live musicians, singers, etc.

I have heard great things about FM Entertainment as well. We went to a showcase recently and we really liked their presentations..Their prices are reasonable too. I still havent decided what DJ to book with yet...
One idea you may want to try is to hit YouTube and type in the DJ's name in the search box. You may be able to see Youtube clips of them in action.
