DJ Help

Wedding planning has been on hold for several months as other things took over our time...we really need to get the whole DJ thing under way....

There are so many to choose from and everyone has positive things to say....how did you choose your DJ?

Any tips on which DJs are in the higher pricing end?

Any DJs you would recommend not using?

We went with the one who we really thought got our vision- Brett @ After Hours. They're awesome, and there's a decent number of girls using them. I'd check them out.

As far as pricing goes, it REALLY depends on what kind of package you're looking for.

We loved LI Sound! They were super professional and so great! The music was awesome and we just LOVED them!

We went with Bravura, they were very professional and classy and we loved the fact that they only do weddings.

We went with High Voltage Sounds. Vinny was really great, didn't push hard to sell anything to us and seems really fun and upbeat. I would definitely give him a call!

We used EJ the DJ. www.ejthedj.com The dance floor was packed the entire night!!

Jimmy Dee Dj! Great customer service and really great dj's. our second favorite was afterhours but we liked the set up design and lighting better with jimmy dee. Brett and Phil at afterhours are amazing though!! i recommend both!

We used Starlight Express. They were easy to work with! Everyone still raves about the music at our wedding!

We went with FM Entertainment after we saw their great showcase and their prices cant be beat!!! They were great at our wedding too.

Gary Hoffman is beyond amazing...all of my vendors raved about him and my guests didnt sit once.....check him out!!!!

We're using MRG. Friends of ours used them for their wedding and we thought they were great!

I'm using ET events (ETNY, Entertainment Tonite) for our DJ. There's a recent review about them floating around somewhere.

We are meeting with LI Sound tonight but have met with In the Mix and After Hours so far.

I thought In the Mix was on the more expensive side but they had so much cool, new, innovative stuff.

Totally depends on the package - for us, it was about items we wanted but went over our budget and what the DJ company could do for us. Some took things totally away and others tried to modify. You have to figure out what you really want vs. what you really need!!!!
