DJ HELP

Fiance and I are starting to look at DJs. We are looking for a company that takes into consideration the bride and grooms interests, works with your must play and must not play list and that isn't too in your face.

Any recommendations?

After Hours DJ Entertainment!!! Talk to Phil. We have a lot of specifics we wanted, including a DJ that wasn't in your face (and we can't do any of the 'club' lighting due to issues with family members' health).

I heard good things about them but heard they were a bit expensive. How are they price wise? We want to stay around 2200 for DJ/MC/violinist during ceremony/plasma screens and zap shots.

Try LI Sound or Variety, both are really good.

Definitely fairly priced - not expensive. We have DJ/MC (1 person), steel drummer, personalized gobo, zap shots with screens, and light up DJ booth for around $2700 (I THINK - I'm moving and all my contracts are safely packed already). So $2200 should be doable.

We were between LI Sound and After Hours. We got the same quote for the same package and it was tough. But they both really work with you so don't be afraid to ask. We ended up choosing LI Sound .... call then and talk to Chris

i used v i v o entertainment... music was very important to me b/c I defn think it makes or breaks a party...my dance floor was packed the whole night and my guests still talk about the DJ...they were a bit pricey but i defn think it was worth it

Try absolute DJs. We paid 2200 for uplifting effects zaps monitors 5 hours. We didn't do live music so I'm not sure what they charge for that. They're really great and easy to work with. Ask for mike!!
