So I met with tommy tunes tonight and loved them! I have an appt to go back and possibly book tomorrow (fh wasn't with me tonight and I didn't want to book without him) problem is I haven't met with any other dj so idk if this is a good quote or not but I don't want to wait too long to book bc I don't want to miss out on thr vocalist I love. The package is: Ceremony music 5 hr DJ and Mc 2- 50 inch plasmas with zap shots, live video simulcast and photo montage 2 illuminated truss towers All white equipment Custom monogram for dance floor Steel pan player for cocktail hr Guitarist/vocalist for dinner
The total came to $4,100 Is this a good deal?

not sure if it's a good deal since i only got a very basic package but they were great when I met with them and i'm so happy we chose them! their prices seemed very in line with other big companies (li sound, after hours). did they discount the price at all since you added in so many different things?

I think it's a fair deal. When I booked with Tommy, I went to him and I said - this is our budget (he was a little over), but we liked you the best. He knocked off just a little bit of money for us. He also really liked that FH was a marine though.
It sounds like a good price, but if it's out of your budget - be honest and see what he can do.

We're also booked with Tommy's Tunes!
We met with 4 DJ companies and TT was cheaper than 2 and the same price as 1. We picked them because they were personable, friendly and professional. It is scary booking on the spot especially when you haven’t met with anyone else. I know…we did that with our florist.
I would recommend going with your gut. If you like them then book. Try posting on the other boards to see if other brides have similar packages for the same price. We booked a simple package (DJ/MC and uplighting only), so we can’t compare our price points.
