DJ Help- what do I ask them?

On the top of my list was: Are you going to be the DJ at my wedding? A lot of places that are larger companies have multiple DJs that do events. Also, if the company is a large company and you do book them, make sure it says in your contract WHO will be your DJ, MC (if your having one, etc.).

I asked to see or hear a sample of weddings the DJ's I checked out preform. I asked if they had any showcases coming up or if they had references.

I believe that you really need to click with someone that the fate of your guests enjoyment at your wedding relys on. Think about it- if your music stunk, your guests would definately notice. You have to KNOW that your DJ will play what you want and what you DON'T wan... Thats a biggie!

You may want to ask what kind of games they play when deciding who gets the centerpiece, if youre giving them away;or what they hand out, if you decide you like those inflatable glasses and guitars; if there is a basic light show included in their price, and whats the difference between a basic light show and an advanced show.
