DJ Issue
I'm sorry to hear that you are getting unnecessary stress at this point. Do I dare ask you what DJ you are using?? I wouldn't want to upset anyone that might be using his services (but it's helpful for people who may be booking a DJ to know)..Does anyone know of a website where you have guidelines on your legal rights with vendors? I do know that they say everything should be in the contract and that is hard too when you already have so much you are thinking of when you are booking. Hope it all works out for you Karen - I'm sure it will be beautiful-try not to stress too much (hard but do try anyway) :o)
I dont know about anyone else, but finding a photographer is really the hardest part so far. It was less stresful to find a hall. Anyone we like it seems is way out of our budget and those people we seems to be able to afford, dont have the creadtive style we are looking for. We figure that since it appears most photographers have a payment plan wherein you only have to pay about half to 2/3 before the wedding and the rest after you get your proofs or oder your book, then we have about a $2000-2500 budget for photo. We need 3 parent books (since my parents are divorced) and want quality, creative, photojournalistic, imaginative, b&w and color pics. We both live in the city so its really hard to keep travelling back and forth out to the island for this. Can anyone refer me to some websites of photographers in this price range and with this style? Thanks
