I met with a DJ that the Bourne Mansion recommends back in OCtober. FH and I decided not to book with them right after we left, a few months later we booked with LI Sounds. Needless to say the DJ has called me non stop since our meeting. Well today the man has the nerve to leave me a message saying another couple called to book him for October 30, 2010 at the Bourne Mansion!! He's like 'please call me so I can find out what's going on with you, because it seems this couple is having their wedding the same day and place as you.' I called Lessings and the lady said she has no idea what he's talking about no one else is booked that day. I'm probably over reacting because I've already had my wedding cancelled on me once because I was booked at the Atlantica.
Sorry this is so long, but does anyone have any opinions on this? Could this guy really be lying to me just to get me to call him back? Or could Lessings have messed up and double booked? They only do one wedding per day so it's not like it could be a day wedding.

he probably saw someone booked for your day but a different year and dint' realize it!
if Lessings says you're still booked, then you are.
regardless, i'd call that DJ and tell him that you will not be using his services. hopefully he'll leave you alone!

If you're worried call again just to confirm with Lessings.
But as for this DJ just call him back and tell him you have a DJ already and would appreciate it if he would stop calling you.

It sounds like he is lying. If your RH double booked, they would have seen it in the book when you called. The DJ probably just wants you to call back worried just so you could talk to him. Don't worry.

I think he's lying to u, but I'd definitely call him and ask him what his problem is.... I'd b so mad if somebody had me thinking that my weddign was double booked. Check with the hall again as well. Better safe than sorry.
