DJ issue...need advice

DJ issue...need advice

Hi girls! I'm kinda freaking out because I have been trying to get in touch with my DJ all week and no one answers the phone...I swear I have called 1,000 times and I feel like that's an issue. I don't know if I'm more worried because of the economy and the slight possibility that they are like going under or something but it's driving me crazy. THe DJ isn't that popular which makes me worry even more. Since I have seen so many good things said about FM, I called them to go to a showcase because they are still available for my date and they are even cheaper then the one I have now. I'm going to see FM Saturday... if I like them should I just book them and cancel the other one (if they ever answer the phone) and lose my deposit (only 150) or wait and see if the one I have calls me back? I just don't like feeling like a vendor is going to drive me crazy for the next 7 months. SOrry so long!!m

Is there office close enough where you can go there? Leave a message-like you said they really aren't that popular, so maybe they aren't in the office as much.

When you call is there an answering machine that picks up? or just rings and rings.

You cant go wrong by going to see someone else this weekend and if you are having doubts about your DJ take the $150 loss so youll have peace of mind.

i agree. if it takes losing $150 to get a great DJ that you will feel 100% comfortable with, i say go for it. obviously the people don't take your business seriously, so i would work on cancelling your contract, writing a letter and send it certified mail. and maybe wait the weekend out. if no word from them by monday, send the letter and book FM>

Who did you book with? If you are having issues now and you don't feel comfortable already then look around and book elsewhere.

I just booked FM last night! They were good and so nice and great prices! When we first got there the room was a little strange... but once he went into his whole presentation I knew they were the right company.
I say go with your gutt! You might regrett it later on! Sometimes us girlies get these instincts...and we should listen to them!

Go see the new DJ. If you are happy with them and more comforable book with them.

If you're aggravated now with 7 months to go, it's not worth it. Book with someone else. I'm using FM and so far have been absolutely thrilled!

Sorry you're having problems with your current DJ! Which one is it? I think, if you feel comfortable with FM and don't mind losing your original deposit for some peace of mind, go for it!
