DJ - much easier - 1 of 2 choices

DJ - much easier - 1 of 2 choices

I loved Frank from FM Entertainment... but FH knows someone who works for Spin N Groove Productions (spinngroove.com). I couldn't find anything on Spin on this site... anyone know of them??? They are kind of big regional company rather than a local company. Usually they are pretty pricey too from what his friend was telling me the original price was of the DJ/MC package, but he was willing to come down about $500 for FH. Stil - he's more than FM and I kind of like that FM offers the dinner singer option... and even with the dinner singer FM costs less than Spin... my dad HATES DJs and at least a singer during dinner will provide the live music style he enjoys and maybe he won't hate my wedding so much. Seriously, he forced a band on my sister... he knows better than to force me to do anything... I'll get married in the Bahamas if he messes with me. I know FM is loved on this site and from last weeks showcase I can understand why, but I want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing by not continuing to meet with other DJ's especially when it's a friend of FH. Granted not a friend that would have otherwise been invited to the wedding. More of an acquaintance.

I went to FM's showcase on Sunday. I was very impressed. I'm visiting one more DJ and then making my decision. As of now I'm leaning towards them!

i met 3 djs before FM... one which was a friend of a friend who was going to give me a deal too but at the end i got more for my $$ from FM..

you have to go with who you feel comfortable with.. FM is def reasonable pricewise.. they came under than the others i saw for what i wanted...

frank is so nice and hs showcases def help show you what he has to offer..

hth

good luck!

My parents aren't dancers and I don't want those who really do not dance to feel bothered by the DJ. I think Frank is very professional and I'm sure he'd understand. I mean, I do want a DJ that will keep as many people on the floor at all times as possible, but I know my parents... my dad likes bands over DJs b/c he can't hear people when they talk when there's a DJ... yes, my father talks doesn't dance. I told him WCC has couches outside the room he and his buddies can sit out there and chat up a storm, while the rest of us boogie on...

lol..

i told frank i didnt want any of that.. calling people to dance and so on.. and no line dances... except for the tarantella(very italian fam dont think i can bypass that one!)

he doesnt seem like an in your face kinda of guy... some MCs like to steal the spotlight

good luck!

Yeah I'm stuck with the tarantella too... and the Hava Negila (sp?). He's Italian and I'm Jewish so since we aren't doing anything for the religions in the ceremony, I'm doing the crowd participation dances in cultural theme... No funky chicken for me!

FH wants the darn chicken... I told him at his next wedding he can have it... this bride ain't doin' no chicken!!!!!
