DJ options....

Okay I have a lot of the planning done I have all my vendors done except flowers tuxes and a few odds and ends. Call me crazy but since we have 16 months left before the wedding, we were thinking of having a bubble machine at the dance floor, what does everyone think? It is only 65.00 more for it.

I say go for it! $65 is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.

We are having the bubble machine. It was included in our package. The originial package had offered us the smoke machine, buy my FI has asthma so the smoke machine would drive him crazy, so our DJ changed that to a bubble machine. He told us that alot of places do not like it because once the bubbles touch the floor, the floor starts to get ruined. He said that he will use it for our first dance, because it looks very nice in pictures and on the video but if the matre d' tells him that he can not use it, he will not continue using it. If you want it, I would check to see if your reception hall allows you to use it.

I didn't think about the floor stuff. So, yeah check wiith your hall first.

I think if you are having children at the reception it would be a cute idea. I wouldn't do it for an adult reception. Jusy my opinion.

When the bubbles pop, it could make the dance floor very slippery. That could cause some problems.

Hopefully no offense taken...Just my thought on it.

I agree with the slippery factor. Also, make sure the bubbles are non-staining (which I'm sure they are). You don't want to ruin your dress or have the tuxes get all spotted.

Wow, I did not think of this... I am such a klutz, I even walk into walls! We are trying to make our wedding different.. any ideas?So far we are having a black and white wedding, with chocolate bars instead of place cards, as well as tropical flowers, the handouts from the DJ, any other unique ideas out there?
