Ok, i want a band and my fiance wants a dj-but the question is has anyone found a good band for a fri night for under $5000? (female vocalist a must)

our band was around $5000...I think their prices went up since we booked them.....Code Bleu from Skyline Orchetras...they were AMAZING!!!!

I always say live music is best, but everyone likes different things. You can have both like I did. I had my band for 4 hours and DJ for 2 hours after...My band was Niteflight..they are a 9 pc band and my co-worker just had them also. They are definitley below $5000..www.niteflightproductions.com
They have a female vocalist and 4 of the other guys sing too. They were amazing. You can see and hear their video on their website.

We are paying about $5,000 for our band and DJ. normally they are $6,500 but since our wedding is during the day and there will not be a light show, they are giving us a better deal b/c they are also doing another wedding that night in Westchester. We are going with Carozza Brothers Entertainment.

We got a DJ not even because of the money... Just because we personally like how a DJ can play anything and I like hearing the song from the original singers its all a matter of taste.

We're doing a DJ too. I wanted a band, but almost passed out the first time we got a quote! I need that money SO many other places right now (HELLO MORTGAGE!) so we are going with a DJ we LOVE (Variety Music)! so I'm happy with our decision!
