I'm looking into DJ's and I want to know what to expect as far as quotes. For those of you who've already booked can you tell me with who, what's your package and how much? Thanks ladies

We looked at In the Mix, LI Sound and After Hours.
In the end we went with After Hours - they gave us everything we wanted and for the exact price. For our whole package we are paying $3K and got a cr@p load of stuff.

We booked with After Hours - Our total price is 2600, which includes;
String Trio for 1 Hr ceremony Cocktail Music 1 DJ, 1 MC - 5 hr reception 10 FT. light truss package 1 Percussionist for Reception

We are booked with LI Sound. We are getting a lot of stuff in our package and it came out to I believe $3600. This included all our lighting for the room, an upgraded DJ booth (their white system), a steel drummer for the cocktail hour and a 2 man team (Dj and MC).

my fiance and i booked with bravura.
i believe their basic package starts at $2,100.

Variety Music - they are SO GREAT
i'm not sure why more girls don't book with them. they are competitively priced and SOOOO SOOO professional
