Hey Ladies..I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of prices they are paying for their dj and also their photography/videography. I'm trying to book them but just don't know what is considered a good price. Thanks =)

they are all so variable depending on what kind of package you get.
for a middle of the road package of dj and lighting, etc. we are paying $2000
again for a middle of the road photo/video, we are paying around $3500 with all albums and three DVDs included.
the best thing is for you to do is to compare what you want at two or three different places for each. that will give you a good idea if they are all in the same price range or one is significantly more.
does that make sense?

i am using Espo Entertainment in Massapequa and Patken Photography in Lindenhurst.
Do a search for Patken...they have a TON of great reviews. I highly recommend them.
See if you can get Vinny on photo and Andy on video if you decide to go with them.

Thanks ladies...basicaly i'm looking for a basic dj package of just the dj and mc nothing too fancy. And then for the Photography/Video i guess maybe a little more then basic there. I don't really care about engagement photos or anything b/c the fh and i are now living in NC so we're not going to go back up to get those photos done.

We are using Allstar-dj/mc with plasma screen, sax and percussionist for ceremony,cocktail hr and reception- $1450. He also has other packages. Photographer is about $3900 -about middle of the road. watch the cheaper photographers. We are using Celestrial.
