DJ Pricing

How much are you paying roughly? This is my new project... we have someone in mind but we are trying to see what they charge.

depends on what you get, such as lighting, mc and dj...it can vary. Anywhere b/w $1000-3500

gee I guess Im the cheapest one here..Im paying $750 for 5 1/2 hrs of music (ceremony , cocktail hour, and reception), LIghting effects, 2 djs, and alot of favors and giveaways whooo hooo

yea this is FH project too... but he wanted me to ask around to see what the average is. no lighting for us, i would assume the basic package for ceremony & reception....

Our is about $4000 but we are having 2 plasma screens, an MC and a DJ, lights, and GOBO's (where they put your name in lights) and a percussionist.

We're paying $1800 fo ceremony, ch and reception music with basic lighting.

I went WAY over budget

I am paying $2850.

I am getting ZAP shots, Ceremony, Cocktail & Reception music, a 50 picture video montage and a parent dance montage... It is a LOT more than I wanted. But it is my FH's fault! He didn't come with me when I booked!

$3,000 with 2 plasmas, lighting, photo montage and a percussionist.

ETA - I am also getting Zap shots that they will put on a CD for me to keep after the wedding!

Between $2 and $3K . FH wanted the plasma TV's with all the montages and pictures on the DVD's.... plus giveaways but I have heard great things about my DJ so I know it will be worth it.
