I'm getting ready to call and make appointments to meet with DJ companies. So far, I'm planning on calling Bravura, Big Hits, and Entertainment Tonite. (BH and ET are recommended by my hall.) Does anyone have feedback on these three companies or suggestions for others that I should call?
We're looking for a company that does a good job without all the 'extras' like giveaways, crazy lights, games, etc. Basically, someone who will play good music and keep the crowd on its feet without getting in the way too much.
TIA!

Re: DJ Question
Do a search for the name of the company on The Bride's Review Board...you'll get first hand accounts from people who have acutally used them!

Re: DJ Question
Big Hits is great..we went to see them but way out of the DJ budget but would have went with Gerry. He seemed great to work with and impressed FH with his music collection on the computer. They actually did my friends wedding 2 years ago and we loved them. Got the crowd dancing by good music not by being annoying. I would pick Big Hits if it was between those 3 because I have seen BH in action!

Check out Steven Charles Entertainment. They are a vendor on here and very reasonable and seemed to be very willing to do whatever you want.

Re: DJ Question
My vote definetly goes to Big Hits. We've got Gerry (the owner) booked for our wedding. Both my sister and brother used them at their weddings and he is awesome. The guests were all saying how good he was and the dance floor was always full.

I didn't meet with the companies you mentioned, but I used Starlight Express and they were WONDERFUL!! People were on the dance floor all night long and this really wasn't a dancing crowd The floor was packed all night -- it was great!
