DJ question

so we went to see a dj and we really liked him mind you this is our first vendor apt besides the RH he went through some packages and this is what he offered us
-mc
-dj
-42' plasma with someone taking pics throughout the night and displaying them (later upgraded to a '50 plasma )
-basic lights (later upgraded to better lights i dont know the name)
-smoke
-6hour music (ceremony, CH, and rec)
all for $2150

what do you guys think...plus he will play a few polish songs since my family is very polish lol

That's about right. We were around that price for all of what you are getting minus smoke and ceremony music (we got married at a church).

The zap shots are the best thing! The one thing that kind of had me annoyed when I got my pro-pics back was that there were a lot of shots that were over-lit...too many flash bulbs going off at once. Not all the fault of the DJ photog (obviously everyone at the wedding had a camera) but there were some shots where I know that the dj photog was over exposing the shot that my pro-photog was getting. just something to be aware of.

we met with We Like 2 Party...Floral Terrace house vendor plus my FH met him a few months back while doing his house alarm (my FH is an ADT tech) so i kinda feel like it was meant to be lol

make sure your photographer doesn't have a problem with someone else taking photos during the reception...some photographers don't like this

This is true, but usually they mention it at the meeting or in the contract.

Byut that is a good price.
