Just starting looking around for my DJ. Had an appointment with one last week and got a quote. I have no idea if this is reasonable or not. $1900 for DJ and MC, uplighting, basic lights, and CD cocktail hour music. Any input?

I think you might be able to get that a little cheaper. It doesn't hurt to go see someone else and compare.

That's a lot more then mine....I'm getting everything you are getting except the CD cocktail hour music...Mine was like $1300

Honestly that is a great preat! I paid more for just the DJ and MC plus I had to pay extra for uplighting, columns, light show.

It's about average. You can find some who will have lower prices and some who are higher in cost.

I think with uplighting that is a good deal. Mine was around there....but I got a photobooth instead of the uplighting.

It's pretty good.
I'm paying $1900 for DJ/MC, lighted all white sound system, intelligent lighting on 4 vertical (lighted) trusses, so top of the line lights, and just 4 color splash uplights behind the dais. No CH music. I think depending on what 'basic lighting' means, you could do better/
