I'm using genesis events. The personalities of the DJs and MCs are very high energy and fun! They have a lot of add ons also

We are using In the Mixx.

They did my brother's wedding and they were fanastic!

My friend used them for her wedding, I thought they were pretty awesome too!

We met w/ Afterhours, LISound, Parties Alive, Variety, and FM Entertainment....we ultimately booked w/ Phil from Afterhours - he has been awesome, will work w/ your budget, and is so much fun! HTH! FM me if you need any more 411!

I agree! We met with those same DJ's and booked w/ Phil from After Hours. He's great!

LI SOUND all the way. My dance floor was packed all night. Their white system is sick! Their uplighting is incredible! Everyone said that my DJ was amazing and the best they've seen. Chris (owner) was my MC and Sal (I think) the DJ. They totally rocked and had the place jumpin'!

And I had them do zap shots and I never even saw the guyu taking the pictures! It was so awesome to see all the zap shots (about 550) afterwards and see how much we partied!

Tommy's Tunes is great! We met w/ 2 other companies and their prices nor personalities didn't compare.

I'm using Bravura. They did a friends wedding a few years back and were phenomenal- the dance floor was packed all night. They also have all fantastic reviews!!

Bravura did my wedding, my brothers and will be doing my sisters this December. Love them!

I've used After Hours and FM Entertainment, and I was very happy with both of them.

I'm using Party Up Productions. They aren't widely known on here. The owner is a friend of my FH so we did get an astronomically good deal but their prices were reasonable before our discount. They have done so many of his friends weddings and Oh My God do they get the party started.

make sure you negotiate with these guys too, don't settle for their published prices.

just realized you started this thread asking how we went about things since the vendor list was so overwhelming and we probably made it worse by throwing out more dj names i mean, i did it too. since you already have your appts booked, I think that's a great start. Just go by price, available services and the feel you get during your meeting and if you don't click with the appointments you already have, just look up a few more the other ladies suggested. you'll know when you found someone who will work for you good luck!
