DJ recommendations

HI-

My fiancee and I are looking into DJ's for our August 2010 wedding. We've been to 2 bridal expos and spoke with After Hours and Parties Alive. Can anyone give us feedback on either of them. We are looking to have a steel drum band for cocktail hour and a dj with percussionist for the reception. We would love any feedback!

I'm a 09er and I am using Phil from After Hours in 34 days! I think he is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Are his prices reasonable and are you getting a steel drum band or anything extra? I am torn between him and Parties Alive. I still need to meet with both of them though.

I'm not....I'm doing a lot of lighting extras with him.

We went with parties alive. the owner (rich) is a good friend of my boss. he was really personable and gave us a great deal. he was really willing to work with our budget! they also did my brother's wedding a year and a half ago and they did an awesome job! goooo parties alive!
